The Family Support Worker provides parent support groups bi-weekly during lunch breaks with the parents of SFN to in a nonjudgmental environment to seek advice or unwind from the challenges of parenting, and also celebrate healthy, positive parenting practices.

The Family Support Worker also provides family advocacy, this being an advocate for families during investigations by Bruce/Grey Child & Family Services. We exercise the family’s rights and responsibilities, as well as assisting with care plans, kinship, and any other child welfare needs.
