Position Summary: The National Native Alcohol & Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP) Worker is an Addictions Counsellor who is familiar with the symptoms of alcoholism and drug abuse. The worker will be available to those community members who would like to pursue treatment of their abuses. This is an outpatient program and referrals can be made to an inpatient treatment program. The main objective is to provide counselling, intervention and prevention and to utilize all resources involved with addictions such as Police, Social Workers, Health Care Workers, Treatment Centres and other professionals.
