On January 31 in Saugeen First Nation, we celebrated a historic moment with the Town of Saugeen Shores as we signed the Friendship Accord. This agreement marks a deep commitment to working together in partnership to foster economic development opportunities and build stronger relationships.

Guided by the 7 Grandfather Teachings, we are reminded of the importance of wisdom, love, respect, bravery, honesty, humility, and truth as we move forward together. As the words “Wiijkiwenydiwaad Miinwaa Zgaabiingnigan” remind us—friends with one another, we are connected.
