The Right to Play Saugeen Youth Leadership Program is housed in the Aaron Roote Memorial Youth Centre and provides after school programming for children and youth ages 10-19 years of age.

There are current five (5) youth groups running every week, four (4) in centre and one (1) through St. Mary’s High School. These youth groups meet weekly to engage with one another through games, team-building/self-confidence building activities/exercises, and planning and brainstorming events.

There are 3-5 youth led events per year, normally one per group, as well as three (3) intergenerational events held each year.

The Youth Mentor and Youth Support Worker are additions to the programs, and also opens the centre for drop-in activities for all children and youth in the community.
