OUR VISION
The Economic Development Department’s Vision is to successfully supply the means to become an economically viable and independent First Nation through business development. This will create economic growth within the community so that future generations can prosper.
OUR MANDATE
The Economic Development Department’s Mandate is to facilitate and implement action in partnership with internal and external business opportunities for the benefit of our members and the community.
OUR MISSION
The Economic Development Department’s Mission is to actively seek, promote, and secure economic initiatives that will enhance the quality of life for a prosperous First Nations Community.
The services offered by the Economic Development Department are assistance with business plans, marketing plans, project start-up, and overall training for community entrepreneurs. We also assist with program development, community tourism initiatives, community planning, and special event bookings.
