- Graduate of Ontario Fire College, Gravenhurst.
- Retired Saugeen Volunteer Deputy Fire Chief of 30 years.
- Retired OMHA Level One hockey coach. Coached Saugeen Stars U18 (Midget boys) for over 20 years.
- Current member of the Wiarton Oldtimers Hockey League, 60+. Go Leafs go!
