Preparing for the 2026–2027 Winter Season
The Road and Works Dept is preparing for the upcoming winter season and is asking residents and businesses who require snow removal services to confirm their need for service in advance. Early registration and confirmation will help the Department organize routes, assign service areas, and ensure that winter operations are carried out efficiently.
Who Should Contact Us?
This notice applies to:
- Existing registered residents 55+ Residents who are already registered for the snow removal program are asked to contact us and confirm that they require snow removal services for the upcoming winter season. Important: Being registered in the database does not automatically mean that snow removal will be provided. Residents must confirm their need for service each winter season. If we do not receive confirmation from you, your record will be marked as “No Confirmation – Service Not Required” and snow removal will not be scheduled until you contact the department.
- Residents turning 55 Residents who will turn 55 during the upcoming winter season including those turning 55 between October 2026 to March 2027, are encouraged to register in advance.

- Paid Snow Removal Service Businesses, residents, and other individuals who require the paid snow removal service are also required to contact the department to confirm that they wish to receive the service for the upcoming winter season.
