Position Summary: Saugeen First Nation is seeking an experienced, hands-on Works Department Supervisor to lead and oversee all Public Works operations. This role provides strong daily leadership to the department, including road construction, road maintenance, ditching, grading, snow plowing, and landfill management. The Supervisor will mentor and train staff, set operational priorities, manage the department’s equipment, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery, safety, and accountability for the community.
We are looking for a skilled, hands-on supervisor who leads by example, knows roads and heavy equipment operations thoroughly, sets the standard for the crew, and can mentor and grow the team. This is a critical leadership role that ensures Saugeen’s roads, infrastructure, and public works services meet the needs of the community today and into the future.
