All mosquitoes that were submitted from First Nation communities these last two weeks (Sept 8-12, 2025) tested NEGATIVE for West Nile virus (WNV).
IMPORTANT: Mosquito Trapping Schedule for the remainder of the Season
Week of Sept 22 – trap as normal
Week of Sept 29 – CANCELLED – we need to cancel this week, as Canada Post is not open on Sept 30
Week of Oct 6th – trap as normal **This will be our Last Week of Trapping**
*unless we find WNV or EEEv positive mosquitoes*
